Welcome to the Santa Barbara Fiesta. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Santa Barbara Fiesta mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.

Fiesta is a time to celebrate this fabulous community we are all so fortunate to live in, and to share in the wonderful alignment of natural bounty and cultural strength that make Santa Barbara and Santa Barbarans so special!
Old Spanish Days is about a sense of history- remembering how life was, or better, how it should have been, and through sharing the joy of Fiesta- how it can be! We hearken back to a simpler and clearer time, when life centered around the Rancho, and romance and joy were in the air. We had plenty of time for family and friends then, and a visit by a stranger was an event for celebration. Everything we did in those olden days had artistry to it - our work, our play, and especially our dance!
